Sound Blends
Once we have finished reviewing all alphabet letter sounds in French, we will focus on common sound blends. Along with our monthly word lists, students should practice finding and brainstorming words that have the sound blends that we review regularly in class. This will help your child sound out words while reading and writing. Below are the sound blends we will be working on throughout the school year. |
Song/Poetry Booklet
Each month, our class will practice a variety of songs and poems to help reinforce key sounds and vocabulary in a fun and interactive way. At the end of the month, your child will bring them home in a red duotang so that they can share them and continue to practice with you. **We ask that you send the duotang back at the end of each month so that new poems and songs can be added.** |
